Corporate Social Investment (CSI)

Companies who donate to PLC receive Section 18A Tax Certificates because we are a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO).

Personal Donations

We also provide Section 18A Tax Certificates to private donors who contribute R100 per month.

What’s in it for the Donor?

PLC is a registered NPC and PBO – SECTION 18A TAX EXEMPT Organisation which uses 100% of funds received for the upliftment of the underprivileged, special needs (including disabled) youth who are 100% black and 50% male and 50% female.

Section 18A entitles a taxpayer (individual, company, close corporation or trust) to deduct donations to public benefit organisations on an annual basis, not exceeding 5% of taxable income.  The “taxable income” for this purpose is the donors’ taxable income as calculated before allowances.

Projects That Require Funding

CSI funding required for special needs school playground

PL4C has acquired (through donation) a set of high-quality imported playground equipment and intends to install it at Molenbeeck School – a government special needs school in the Western Cape. Whilst the equipment is a donation the cost for safe and accredited installation is considerable from preparing the ground to the surface covering required relevant to fall heights.

All donations are used 100% for the project and will be issued with Section 18A Tax Certificate.
